Take a trip back in time.  Conversations in History with Dora will allow you to experience history as if you were there.  Dora is a fictional character who has the ability to speak on any subject from the perspective of one who has lived it all.
A student of history and the human condition, Doris has always been fascinated by the stories that comprise the accounts of who we are. That love and a skill at public performance has lead to a desire to bring history and historic characters back to life. With a degree in Sociology and a lifetime of being in the public eye, Doris brings it all together to create programs that are enjoyable and educational.

Donlyn's character interpretation of Mary Bader Arbuthnot is enhanced by her total immersion in the image of this strong pioneer woman.  Fielding questions from the audience is downright fun as she holds fast to her presence in the 19th Century.  It takes a comprehensive knowledge of local history to pull this off, and Donlyn is a master."
